Hello, my name is Mark, I’m the Dave Grohl of the Foo Fighters sw. After hearing the Offsprings ‘The kids aren’t alright’ at 12yrs old my world changed. I fell in love with pop punk which eventually led me to the Foo Fighters.

Learn to fly was the first time I saw Dave on Kerrang tv. All his humour and charisma entangled in a song that has lasted the test of time. This guy was my hero years before I tried to emulate him in this tribute band. But back then my life was very different. I joined the Army straight from school at 16, travelled the world, served in Iraq and lived in Germany until I eventually left to peruse my love for music.

Myself and Nathan, our Nate Mendel were in a progressive metal band called Lunix which eventually dissolved. Then I stopped. I didn’t think I would ever be a band again after that. Then Taylor Hawkins tragically died. It was then, at the tribute festival celebrating his life at Wembley stadium that myself and long time friend Frank ‘Our Taylor Hawkins’ thought about starting a tribute to the Foos.

Since then that idea has grown into from an idea, into a dream to reality. It Also helps that I look like Dave…..or at least that’s what people tell me. Long love Rock n Roll and long live the Foo Fighters.
