Liam

I'm Liam and I am the Chris Shiflett of the band. I got my first guitar when I was 13 years old but decided I didn't like it because a teacher in my music class at school told me I had to play a certain way and I put the guitar down because I'm stubborn. Then about a year later I discovered Metallica and fell in love with the guitar and music and haven't stopped playing obsessively since. The First time I heard the Foo Fighters was on Kerrang TV with their music video for 'Learn to Fly' and I fell in love with them because the song was great and the video for it was funny too. I'd always been more of a "Greatest Hits" fan of the band up until Frank (our Taylor Hawkins) asked me if I'd like to try out for the band and jumped at the chance. It wasn't until then that I realised how many great songs and albums that the Foos really had, from songs like Bridge Burning to my own personal favourite in Congregation. We all got in the practice room, I auditioned for the band and have loved every minute of it since. The band has only gotten better and better and we've played song great shows, great tunes and had some amazing moments together already and I'm excited for what the future holds for the Foo Fighters SW.
